BW is a real cat who rescued her human Ester — first illustrated on a Dalí Museum postcard, thanks to her one-sided Dalí mustache. Luna does pottery, Hansel is her husband.

Growing up in Lima, Perú, Monica was always the kid with a pencil in hand — charmed by vintage stationery, Strawberry Shortcake, and Snoopy. Life took her through Germany and academia before Florida called her home, where the characters, the ceramics, and the stories all found their way onto paper.
"The M is the Andes. The G is the sun."
Monica's initials — carved into clay as a potter's stamp — mirror the most Peruvian drawing a child can make. Her mark on every ceramic piece.
